Dr. Jennie M. Bennett, is a native Houstonian. She received her degrees including her doctorate from the University of Houston. Dr. Bennett has taught elementary, middle, undergraduate, and graduate students, was a lead researcher for a Mathematics Project for the State of Louisiana. She recently served on the Board of Directors for the World’s largest mathematics organization, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and was First-Vice President for the second largest mathematics organization. She is the Past President of the Benjamin Banneker Association a national mathematics organization. Dr. Bennett is the co-author of elementary and middle math textbooks and has written journal articles and contributed chapters in various books. She speaks all over the country and in Canada. A 13-year breast cancer survivor, she was featured in the first ad campaign for MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She helps numerous women who have been stricken with breast cancer,  by instructing them on how to educate themselves about their diagnosis, treatment options and how to claim their physical, emotional, and spiritual wholeness. Dr. Bennett has represented MD Anderson in publications such as Texas Monthly Magazine and Continental Airlines flight magazine. Her picture is currently on the wall in the new Ambulatory Building at MD Anderson for which she participated in the groundbreaking ceremony. She is a member of Everlasting Covenant Church. Dr. Bennett speaks all over the city about breast cancer. She and God team up to bless the lives of so many people who have been attacked with cancer through her non-profit organization, Reconstruction of a Survivor, www.reconstructasurvivor.org to bless breast cancer patients in a greater magnitude with faith-based life-skills support groups to include forgiveness, how to set goals in life, diet, exercise tips, career and job interview skills, working on your image while going through cancer, and how to live beyond a diagnosis of breast cancer for hope and healing.

 

 Barbara Harris Curtis is passionately committed to inspiring, equipping, and empowering people to experience victory in every area of their lives.  Barbara is a minister, entrepreneur, and author. She currently serves in full-time ministry at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, where she is responsible for the training and development of over 2,000 volunteers and staff members.  She is also the president of RSVP – Realize Success through Vision and Purpose, a consulting and training firm that she founded in 1999.  This venture and the desire to take biblically-based coaching and training beyond the church into corporate and non-profit arenas allow her to reach both Christian and secular audiences with the message of the Gospel.Barbara’s ability to apply biblical principles to life issues in a practical and relevant fashion makes her a sought after speaker for conferences, churches, women’s groups, and general audiences throughout the country.  Additionally, she has been featured on numerous television and radio talk show programs.Inspiring, humorous, engaging, enlightening, and life changing are a few of the words that have been used to describe Barbara’s messages.  Her recently published book Confessions of a Kept Woman – inspired by Isaiah 26:3 – is a powerful compilation of life experiences, scriptural confessions, and practical steps used to lead the reader on a journey to peace, purpose, and abundance.Barbara’s vast professional and ministry experience along with her personal faith journey through singlehood, marriage, and widowhood provide the “real life” testimony used in her messages.  

 

Pastor Dennis Daniels Jr. is a prophetic-teacher of the Word of God.  With an assignment to the Body of Christ coming directly from Hebrews 11:6,  Daniels has ministered throughout the United States and internationally.  Prior to responding to the call of God on his life, Daniels enjoyed a successful sales and management career with several Fortune 500 companies.  His success in sales,  provided skills which have been redirected to enhance the lives of Believers everywhere.  His insight regarding the areas of FINANCE and LEADERSHIP principles have provided stability, confidence, and success to those in the Body of Christ.  Born and raised in Joliet, IL, Dennis has overcome a past filled with drugs, gangs and time in state and federal institutions.  His life is truly a testimony of the power of God.  Currently Daniels resides in Houston, TX with his wife Kimberly and their six sons.  They are Pastors of Victory Christian Center International in Houston, TX.

 

 

Dr. Doris Forté, As a practicing optometrist for over thirty years, Dr. Doris Forte’ has helped thousands of patients by providing them with clearer vision.  As an Intometrist, she helps others gain a clearer focus of their inner vision.  The workshops that Dr. Forte’ facilitates as the Founder and CEO of You’re Living Proof empowers survivors of family violence to set goals that lead to freedom from abuse.  Through THE SQUEAKY WHEEL PROJECT, You’re Living Proof presents educational seminars in school districts throughout the Houston area to educate teens about dating abuse and how to become a “squeaky wheel” about the victimization in their lives.   Having survived domestic violence, as well as dual hip replacements, Dr. Forte’s shares her experience, strength, and hope with others who suffer from physical or emotional pain as a constant reminder that life should be cherished and enjoyed.  Dr. Forte’s global presentations emphasize her core belief that the challenges that we encounter and overcome can increase our capacity as human beings, if we allow them to.

Alana Higginbotham is the owner and creator of Rene’ Higginbotham & Co.  She brings to the table not only years of passion for fashion and makeup but also years of experience.  She has experience with proms, weddings, television, theater, advertising and even smaller special occasions.  Her clients range from high profile to the average new mom wanting to style her new figure.   She combines her talents with her partner artists and stylists to serve all her clients needs. Alana has taught at seminars and even facilitated workshops on a corporate level.  She focuses on her business with a servant’s heart and has been quoted as saying, “My talents are not for my own benefit but to change the lives of others, that is my focus.”  Mrs. Higginbotham is a motivational mentor to women from varying backgrounds and even speaks in classes on balancing family and career. Alana enjoys applying makeup, styling wardrobes, and teaching others how to do the same.  She is also a Voice Over Talent, Mistress of Ceremony, and On-Air Personality.  She can perform one on one tutorials and even apprenticeships/mentorships for aspiring artists and stylists.  She is a lover of all things creative and all people.  Her talents will surely change you

Marilyn Logan, also known as “The Money Lady”, is a national radio and television personality, business owner, author and motivational speaker. Melodie Wade dropped her pursuit of a nursing degree and took the fast track to the top.  Majoring in speech communications and mass media with an emphasis in television broadcast, Melodie has become a seasoned professional that has accumulated an impressive list of accomplishments such as placements in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, CNN, ESPN, MSNBC, USA Today, World News with Charlie Gibson, Good Morning America and the BBC—to name a few.
