WHAT IS G.E.N.E.S.I.S.?                                                                    A Christian based program designed to assist high school age girls in achieving their destiny through bible studies, mentoring, life skills training, exposure to the arts and academic and professional development.

WHO CAN BE A PART OF G.E.N.E.S.I.S.?                                    All high school ages girls are welcome.

HOW IS THE G.E.N.E.S.I.S. PROGRAM STRUCTURED?         The G.E.N.E.S.I.S organization will run a 9-month program schedule each year (with the exception of the first year 5-month program schedule).  The program schedule will consist of a monthly theme to be implemented in 3 monthly meetings (program day, scheduled outing, mentor/mentee meeting).  Programs will kick off in 2010. Please check back for program updates.

HOW CAN I BE A MENTOR?                                                   G.E.N.E.S.I.S will be based on a team mentoring model.  The name of the mentorship program shall be TITUS 2.  The name is derived from the Titus 2:3-5 scripture that admonishes the older women to teach the younger women.

·         One mentor per 4 girls

·         Mentors are required to commit to one program year (Sept. – May)

·         Each mentor and mentee will be matched based on compatibility from the Questionnaire

GIRLFRIENDS GET-A-WAY AND G.E.N.E.S.I.S.?                         This year, G.E.N.E.S.I.S will participate in the annual GFG conference.  Girls will have an opportunity to experience GFG from a teen’s perspective with activities targeted for their age group.  All girls will participate in the general session, praise/worship service, and lunch with the adult participants. The conference will allow girls to experience the G.E.N.E.S.I.S  program on a smaller scale. To register for GFG, please click here.
